Dr. Luciano de Gatica is a Veterinarian and Veterinary Surgeon who brings over 20 years of Clinical Experience to Modern Vet’s Palm Branch. He graduated from Universidad De La Plata in Argentina in 2005. He has taken many postgraduate courses and Continuing Education Classes in Advanced Surgical Techniques.
He has had Internships in both Small Animal General Surgery and Advanced Experimental Microsurgery. In addition, he is certified in Videolaparoscopic Surgery; holds a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery (2022); and is a holder of an International Diploma in Laparoscopy and Thoracoscopy of Small Animals (2023). He has also received advanced training in V-Clamp Surgery and Cardiovascular Intervention (EAVSI, 2025).
Dr. Luciano de Gatica believes that “your pet’s health is our priority”. His areas of surgical expertise include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as cardiovascular intervention. Dr. Luciano de Gatica speaks both Spanish and Portuguese natively and is professionally proficient in English. He enjoys Kayaking and Diving outside the Clinic.
