Biography

Dr. Snezhana Pochkalina has been working as a Veterinarian at Modern Vet Palm for 16 years. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2010 from the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and has a current UAE veterinary license.

She uses evidence-based medicine and feels the greatest success comes from the close working relationship between veterinarians and pet owners. The majority of her clinical practice is in dermatology, which is enhanced by additional education through an advanced course in Canine and Feline Endocrinology at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. She continually seeks out new information to help improve the care of her patients and she is always looking for ways to apply the most recent advances to everyday care.

Dr. Snezhana Pochkalina speaks both English and Russian and she understands the importance of clear and concise communication with clients to help them make informed decisions for their pets. She finds her work rewarding because it allows her to assist animals in being their best self and to strengthen the bond between pets and their families.
