Dr. Tetiana Filenko is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine who has practised small animal medicine (primarily cats and dogs) for over 10 years. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in veterinary medicine from a University in Ukraine and then moved to the UAE where she currently resides and works as a veterinarian. Most of Dr. Tetiana Filenko’s career has been spent working at Modern Vet.
She is interested in three areas within her profession: veterinary dentistry, veterinary ophthalmology and internal medicine. In addition to completing advanced studies in veterinary dentistry and veterinary ophthalmology, Dr. Tetiana Filenko specializes in dental treatments, including restorative work of teeth and maintaining good oral/dental health after removals.
In addition to a commitment to treating all patients compassionately and using evidence-based practices tailored to each pet’s specific needs, Dr. Tetiana Filenko writes articles for regional veterinary magazines. Her preferred method of contributing to the advancement of veterinary science is by continuing to provide quality, personalized, hands on clinical care and preventative measures to improve the overall health and well-being of pets.
