Dr. Rocio Mena
Dr. Rocio Mena was born in Spain and discovered her passion for veterinary medicine early in life. She pursued this dream and graduated from CEU University in Spain in 2018 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
Following her graduation, Dr. Rocio embarked on a diverse and enriching career, gaining experience in various veterinary hospitals. Her journey included a significant tenure at a prestigious university veterinary hospital in Valencia, where she honed her skills and knowledge.
Dr. Rocio's career has also been marked by international experience, notably in Ireland, where she further expanded her expertise. This international exposure has provided her with a unique perspective and a wealth of experience in veterinary practice.
Currently, Dr. Rocio is pursuing a General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert) in Internal Medicine, underscoring her deep interest in this field. She is also passionate about emergencies and soft tissue surgery, dedicating her efforts to providing the best care for her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Rocio loves to travel and explore new cultures. She enjoys spending time with horses and engaging in equestrian activities. Dr. Rocio also cherishes being outdoors, whether it's hiking, camping, or simply enjoying nature. Her diverse interests and experiences enrich her approach to veterinary medicine, making her a valuable asset to our team at Modern Vet.

I have been visiting the clinic for 2 years now (Al Wasl branch). I have met Dr. Pablo which is new to the clinic. No words can express how grateful and thankful I am for meeting him and sending my 3 fur babies to him. Today was our second appointment and he was very welcoming as usual and super friendly! I’ve never seen our new born kittens healthy for so long. My kittens got a lot of cuddles. All of our questions were answered, and my kittens was already back to their normal self when we got home! He really cares about my fur babies like they were his own. Such a nice person to deal with! The whole team is amazing! It’s worth driving 45 minutes, I recommend him 100%!
