Dr. Rocio Mena was born in Spain and discovered her passion for veterinary medicine early in life. She pursued this dream and graduated from CEU University in Spain in 2018 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Following her graduation, Dr. Rocio Mena embarked on a diverse and enriching career, gaining experience in various veterinary hospitals. Her journey included a significant tenure at a prestigious university veterinary hospital in Valencia, where she honed her skills and knowledge.
Dr. Rocio Mena’s career has also been marked by international experience, notably in Ireland, where she further expanded her expertise. This international exposure has provided her with a unique perspective and a wealth of experience in veterinary practice. Currently, Dr. Rocio Mena is pursuing a General Practitioner Certificate (GPCert) in Internal Medicine, underscoring her deep interest in this field. She is also passionate about emergencies and soft tissue surgery, dedicating her efforts to providing the best care for her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Rocio Mena loves to travel and explore new cultures. She enjoys spending time with horses and engaging in equestrian activities. Dr. Rocio Mena also cherishes being outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, or simply enjoying nature. Her diverse interests and experiences enrich her approach to veterinary medicine, making her a valuable asset to our team at Modern Vet.
