Biography

Dr. Novi Tandria is a caring veterinarian who believes in evidence-based care, empathy and continual learning. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) in Indonesia in 2012 and has more than 14 years of veterinary experience.

Dr. Novi’s area of expertise includes dogs, cats and marine aquatic species. Her areas of interest include preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging and cardiology. In addition to these, Dr. Novi has experience caring for other aquatic biota (non-mammalian) species; she also has experience using Aohua endoscopy.

As well as having a passion for veterinary cardiology, Dr. Novi is committed to lifelong learning and is currently completing continuing education through Improve International. She enjoys both the diagnosis aspect and problem solving associated with veterinary medicine. It gives her great joy to watch her patients get better and bring joy to their owners’ lives.

In addition to being a veterinarian, Dr. Novi enjoys scuba diving and playing padel.

Veterinarian with over 14 years of experience

Has been practicing veterinary medicine since graduating from Institut Pertanian Bogor in 2012, providing compassionate, evidence-based care across companion and aquatic species.

Veterinary education and continuing professional development

Graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), Indonesia, in 2012. Currently continues to develop his clinical knowledge through cardiology training with Improve International.

Broad clinical interests

Experienced in preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging and cardiology with additional experience working with aquatic biota and non-mammalian species.

Endoscopy and aquatic animal experience

Experienced with Aohua endoscopy and has clinical experience working with marine aquatic species and other non mammalian aquatic biota.
