Dr. Nicoleta Nica is a veterinarian at Modern Vet JLT who has ten years of experience working in the small animal sector. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Agriculture and Veterinary Science of Banat. As of today, she is professionally registered in Romania, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates; she is also a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Nica’s philosophy of veterinary care includes the overall health, comfort and well-being of each patient. Her philosophy of veterinary care is based on compassion for patients and their owners and on building long term relationships with clients. She completed the Cutting Edge Emergency and Critical Care programme at Vets Now, which enhanced her emergency and critical care skills for urgent and complex situations. Her areas of interest are preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, dermatology, radiography and behaviour.
She is fluent in both Romanian and English and believes that effective communication is essential when establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with families. Dr. Nica enjoys many things outside of the clinic, such as dancing, music, being outdoors, and spending time with her two cats, Peanut and Pickle, who were adopted by her when they were kittens.
