Biography

Dr. Cristina was born in Madrid, Spain. For as long as she can remember she wanted to be a veterinarian. In 2013 she graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Complutense University in Madrid. She then gained admission into the very selective university hospital, a reference center in Spain. She did two years of rotating internship in three different services at the hospital: medicine, anesthesia and emergency. The third and last year was dedicated to a residency specializing in intensive care and neurology consultations only.

After completing her residency, Dr. Cristina worked at a veterinary center in Madrid and oversaw the neurology department for about 5 years. In 2019 she completed a master’s degree in Small Animal Neurology, and in 2020 she prepared for an exam in the same field at the European School for Advance Veterinary Studies, where she obtained the degree that same year. Dr. Cristina moved to Dubai with her husband in March 2021, wanting to take another step in their professional careers. Dr. Cristina likes to read in her time off from work and loves going to the beach.
