Born and raised in the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Kiran Radhakrishnan moved to India to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. She graduated from Veterinary College, Bangalore, in 2022. Throughout her university years, she eagerly engaged in volunteering and internships at various animal shelters and hospitals, keen to gain as much experience as possible. Following graduation, Dr. Kiran Radhakrishnan returned to the UAE, where she worked at a specialist animal hospital and, most recently, at an animal rescue center housing over 250 dogs and cats. During these years, she gained extensive knowledge in surgery, diagnostics, emergency care, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Kiran Radhakrishnan has undergone several specialized training programs in orthopedics, soft tissue surgery, and emergency medicine, organized by leading institutions such as Improve International Veterinary Education, Worldwide Veterinary Services, and ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute. She also recently passed the North American Veterinary Licensing Board Exam and is excited to continue learning and growing as a veterinarian to provide the best care to animals. In addition, Dr. Kiran Radhakrishnan is currently pursuing her master’s in Veterinary Sciences in Advanced Clinical Practitioner at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Her passion for animals began at a very young age. At just 6 years old, she first took her dog to an animal hospital, and from that moment, she aspired to become a veterinarian. Transitioning from feeding animals to treating them has been a dream come true. Outside of work and studying, Dr. Kiran Radhakrishnan enjoys practicing yoga and spending time outdoors by running or hiking.
