How long does it take for my pet to recover from surgery?

The length of time that your pet will need to recover after surgery will depend on the type of procedure that was done, the condition of your pet, and the overall health of your pet. Some pets may go home the same day they were admitted to the hospital, while others may require hospital care and several weeks of restricted activity and rehabilitation.

What are common Fractures in pets?

Pets experience Fractures most often in their forelimbs (front legs), hips, and feet. Cats also have a high risk of toe fractures, luxating patella (dislocated kneecap), and humeral exostosis (a bone tumor). It is important to seek treatment right away so that the bones can heal properly.

Will surgery be done at the first visit?
