Dr. Isabel Nunes is a highly experienced veterinarian in Dubai at Modern Vet, having joined the clinic in October. Originally from Portugal, she graduated from the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro and has built an extensive international career focused on advanced small animal medicine.
With over 20 years of veterinary experience in Dubai, Dr. Helena has worked at well-known veterinary clinics where she spent years providing high-quality medical care to companion animals. Her long-standing experience in the UAE allows her to understand the specific needs of pets and pet owners in the region.
Dr. Isabel Nunes specializes in internal medicine and veterinary cardiology. She holds a postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, has completed multiple advanced courses in veterinary ultrasound, including echocardiography and abdominal ultrasound, and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Cardiology with ESAVS. Her clinical approach emphasizes precise diagnostics, modern treatment protocols, and long-term disease management.
At Modern Vet, Dr. Isabel Nunes is known for her compassionate care, attention to detail, and strong communication with pet owners. She is passionate about helping pets achieve better quality of life through preventive care, accurate diagnosis, and evidence-based veterinary medicine.
