Dr. Fatima, D.V.M, is a veterinarian at Modern Vet Clinic, downtown, with 8 years of experience in veterinary practice. She graduated with a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Bahri in 2016. Dr. Fatima believes that each pet should be treated as an individual, and therefore combines her interest in internal medicine and geriatric care with a conservative approach to surgical planning with the goal of providing long term health and well-being for all patients.
She has completed one year of internship training at Bahri Veterinary Hospital, which provided her with hands on experience in surgery, internal medicine, and ultrasonography. She is also continuing education in areas including internal medicine, parasitology, small animal surgery, and geriatric medicine; she holds a master’s qualification in the area of food safety for animals. Dr. Fatima’s primary clinical areas of interest are preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, pain management, emergency care, and geriatric medicine.
It is Dr. Fatima’s strong desire to provide compassionate care, to demonstrate empathy, and to takes responsibility that brings her the most satisfaction in being able to restore comfort to pets and peace of mind to their owners.
